I dont understand!

Didnt someone say they are supposed to update every 2 weeks?????? WHY in the hell are the still processing December 31 2005!!!???????

Aug 2001- met in highschool in US

Feb 15 2006- sent I 129

Feb 17 2006- NOA1

Feb 23 2006- *touched*

April 1 2006- still waiting =(

July 10 2006- touched!!

July 11 2006- touched again!!!

July 24 2006- touched (RFE in email)

Aug. 7 2006- RFE in mail

Aug 15 2006- sent back RFE (the wait begins again)

Aug 26 2006- touched (RFE recieved)

Aug 28 2006- APPROVED!!!!!- after 192 days~!

Sep 3 2006- get NOA2 in snail mail

Sep 13 2006-NVC recieves case!!!

Sep 18 2006- NVC sents case to Embassy!!

Sep 21 2006- Embassy recieves!

Sep 27 2006- Embassy send interview packet!!

Nov 9 2006- Medical completed

Nov 20 2006- Interview APPROVED

Nov 22 2006- picking up my VISA

NOV 23 2006- leaving for ATLANTA

Beats me! I've just been told to be patient and wait my turn!!!

NSC was at December 21, 2005 for two months. Yet they were quite clearly processing applications from February and March. I wouldn't put much credence in those online dates.

Processing times are updates around the 5th and the 20th of each month. Sometimes they're late, but they always update the site.

Sorry to be so pragmatic, but there's not use in getting to worked up about USCIS not updating their sites. For the most part, the processing dates are not exact anyway.

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

Really??

Have a look at the timelines online here at VisaJourney, where people are actually typing in the dates that things are REALLY happening, not what the USCIS is reporting. It's a far more accurate representation of processing times.

Of course, that depends on everyone filling out their timelines! So if you haven't, then help everyone else out and do it today!
