After the 15 days waiting period the court gave me my Certificate of Finality and the Decree, and I went to the LCR and they offer they will issue me a Annotated MC with Secpa and they sent an endorsement letter to NSO main of course with pay per copy...and I received my Anotated MC with Secpa after 2 weeks...now my question is do I need to go to the NSO main to check if my files are updated? Is the 6 months validity applies here? is my anotated MC with secpa enough that I'm all cleared?

Advice pls :help:

First what 6 months validity are you talking about?

Anyhow, you can always go to the NSO and obtain a MC to see for yourself if the annotation is there. Just bring the court decision, your certificate of finality, the decree of annulment and the annotated MC to the interview. Those will suffice to prove the dissolution of your marriage . Goodluck!!

Removal of Conditions :

August 16, 2010 - Petition received by USCIS Vermont Center

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

October 4, 2010 - Biometrics

January 3, 2011 - Permanent 10 yr. Green Card Received.

Will these also suffice for the CFO? I read you need the NSO certified decree for the NSO.

Thanks

what is the mc with secpa? anyway its much better if you go to NSO personally and tell them you want to endorse your MC. you have to go and line up early in the morning for you to get a good number and finish early. i went there around 430am and i was no 30 i think. anyway after you give them the required papers for them to annotate your MC, you have to go back there after 3weeks or more. (not sure, depends on them) to get your NSO MC w/ annotation. so i suggest you go there ASAP coz your interview will be on OCT 4. good luck

BTW when i went there and will only obtain a copy coz i already endorsed it before, i have to go back again after 10 days just for the copy.

Some case I've read before that when USE check her files at NSO main it appears that shes still married even though she had her annulment granted.....so USE put her on AR for 5 months I guess......its a case made mention at WOF if you know the forum...

The 6 months policy applies to records like BC, MC, and some others will be forwarded to NSO main and they will enter it in their data base, not sure if I got it right......thats why I'm asking if after endorsement and issuance of Annotated MC with Secpa will all be fine....

I was told by the guard at NSO East Avenue, Q. C. that all transactions pertaining to annulment, late registration, or any other corrections on MC & BC should be done there. There is a separate place and different staff to handle all those stuff there. So to find out if the guard was telling the truth, I got my annotated MC in East Avenue(it took me 3 weeks to apply and get a copy). After a month I got another copy of MC in NSO Dagupan City,Pangasinan(my home province). The guard was right. The copy I got in Dagupan City is not updated I am still married but the copy I got from East Avenue has annotation that it has been annulled.

i suggest you go to NSO in QC personally just for you to be sure rather taking chances. you still got time for you to endorse your MC "if ever" they didnt annotate it yet.

just like raquel 1208 said they do all the corrections/annotation in QUEZON CITY (QC).

If you have already obtained a MC with the annotation thats already good. The regional branches of NSO has the same date with the main NSO in Manila, thats the very reason why your LCR forwarded your papers to NSO Manila for proper annotation. Well, why not obtain a new MC from your NSO Baguio, thats what the regional branches are for so people from the provinces dont have to go to Manila to obtain one. Goodluck!!

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

October 4, 2010 - Biometrics

January 3, 2011 - Permanent 10 yr. Green Card Received.
