Hi,

I'll add my confirmation to others. I filed for a K1 visa and my number is EAC0720450XXX. It does appear to be EAC (for Vermont Service Center), 07 (the year), 204 (the ordinal day of the year = Jul 11), and some ordinal sequence number for the receipt during the day. So, if I might offer a helpful suggestion: Why not take a look at the back of the cancelled check that was sent along with the application? That contains the number printed on it. On mine, its pretty clear. If you don't have the check, call the customer service at the bank and ask them to read it to you. Most keep scanned copies, even if they have sent the original document out to the client. Just a thought to help thing along.

I'm going to go out on a limb here. I assume your man got the case # from his NOA1 or the back of his check.

NOA1 = Have him scan you his NOA1

Check = Have him show you online the back of the check.

Airing dirty laundry in public will always come back to bite you in the azz especially to people

whose interest in your personal life is defined purely by its dramatic/comedic value.

I'm thinkin 5 things right now.

1 - Got Don Henley's 'dirty laundry' in my head...he was right, people love dirty laundry

2 - I wanna get a button like from the Truman Show after readin many threads lately. One that says 'How's it all gonna end?'

3 - If a partner needs to PROVE summat to the other, the trust is fuct.

4 - If trust is fuct, the relationship is in trouble.

5 - OP & fiancee, I hope for your sake that I'm wrong

We can all guess about the case numbers here; we can say that it is correct or we can say that it is false. It isn't going to help in this case is it? Why? Because the only way that this number can be verified is if the OP sends his fiancee some form of clarification regarding it. Guessing just ain't going to help here, imo.

So, I'm going to suggest that although public laundry airing isn't against the TOS, that this matter would be better if the OP and his fiancee spent some time sorting this out between them privately. I can't see how continuing this discussion on VJ is going to help them at all. ;)

Oh...and enuff of the popcorn smilies, PLEASE! :star:

Agreed, but I think she already has an awareness of this as painful as it may be. She has seen his disloyalty to a previous wife and this cannot escape her thoughts no matter how far back she pushes it in her mind.

She'll spend the rest of her life checking and double checking his words because of previous behavior so your idea lucho is reasonable for her to do. I would also call some of the official phone numbers associated with their NOA1 (there is a phone listed on this document) and ask questions until satisfied one way or another.

Second that. I think this is sort of the 800 pound elephant in the room that everyone is trying to ignore.

Some people say I'm easily distracted, but that's not... Hey! A squirrel!

Look there's really no point in all the speculation ... you have a lot of options to clear this. If he can't just hold the thing up to a web cam, he can scan the NOA1 in as a pdf and have him email it to you, you (two) are obviously competent enough in your computer skills to handle this. Same with the check. If you don't have a scanner a digital photo works, if you don't have a digital camera Kinkos (found in all the major cities in the US) will scan them both for a couple of bucks and hand him a cdrom with the images.

So deal with that. get past it one way or another but don't dwell on it as it will become more than it is quickly.

Next get the mystery out of your relationship and the trust back in it.. share everything, email, chats, etc. if your really going to be a couple, then end all the secrets now and work together. Above all, look/hear that other person and make sure thats the one you want to be with.

What makes you think that you will lose her if she goes back to Korea? I mean, if she is not doing well in Uzbekistan and Korea will give her better opportunities UNTIL she gets her K-1 to be with you in the US, I don't understand your worries.

Do you two not have any mutual trust towards each other? Without trust you don't even have a relationship :crying:

Thank you one and all for you prayers and support. I appreciate the wishes for good health and good luck.

Today, my lola had asked me about returning to korea. I had aid "NO," but she had stated

" work and make money,so I can feel free to buy me everything that I want like it was before" and " want to go back and feel korean air" and "Korea is better, because I have been there for a while,I know language and I won't lost there,I mean I know how to find a job, etc"

I love this woman and I am afraid that if I allow her to return to Korea, that I may loose her..

I do not know what to do...

OK, so she doesn't believe you filed the petition? There is something seriously wrong here. I'm not trying to be mean here but for her to doubt you like that is just crazy. Why would you want to even be with someone who doesn't have faith in you?

I know it is hard. I met my husband while he was stationed in Germany. He left Germany in October 2005 and we were just reunited in march of 2007! That is a long damn time but with faith and belief in the other person, you can make it.

Your fiance needs to chill and be patient while having some trust in you!

Thank you one and all for you prayers and support. I appreciate the wishes for good health and good luck.

So she wants to go back there because she wants to buy stuff and she can't do that now? I mean.. hmm. And she can't get a job in the usa? If she really cares about your guys' life together you should sit down and work the pros and cons together. Maybe she just needs time to adjust. I hope it works out for you!

My fiancee is in Uzbekistan..and she believes that I am lying about sending in the visa

petition. She believes that our petition is not being worked on if we can not verify our case number.

Lola, I can understand that you want to go to a better place where you can be better off. I would want to do the same thing .... and like you said, you have the memories there. So, I really do understand. At the same time, it looks like you have no trust (with good reason for that). Besides the receipt number not making sense to you, is there anything else that makes you believe that he did not file the petition?

As for this number: VSC200707 Could it be that it means Vermont Service Center, July, 2007? Maybe he gave you the receipt date instead of the petition number? My petition receipt number begins with WAC-06-xxx-xxxxx <---- those are numbers. Maybe he just made up a number because you didn't believe he filed - maybe he doesn't have the number yet - is this possible? I dunno .. i didn't even see the timeline.

All i can say is that if you two are going to be together and you two love each other, you both need to trust each other and have patience.

OK...

Let me answer in here..

My name is Lola and yes,I am originally from Uzbekistan..

I met Al in Korea while he was in US military there..

I lost my job and moved to the city where he was stationed..

We were living together for a while and wanted to get married

when I found out that he is married...

I don't want to remember that time,it was hurrible...

But...he filed for divorce and step by spet we became a couple

again...If I say that I love him,it won't be enough...

HE IS MY EVERYTHING...

I love him that deep that I am willing to sucrifice all that I have

to make sure that he is OK...

I asked him about me going back to Korea because I miss it...

I don't feel right to be back home..Yes,I miss my parents...

My homeland...But everything is not right in here...

We met there and that's why I love this country...

Don't want to say something bad about Uzbekistan, but

I enjoyed my self better there...I could make money and be abple to help my parents..

But now I have to ask Alvin for support,I don't feel right all the time when I have to do that,

because I understand that he has to pay child support,etc...

I want to be independent person and sometimes send him presents and gift, like I did before...

I hope you remember that,Alvin,do you?

Thats all ...

And another thing about not trusting...

Yes,I had a very hard time to get trust back, after knowing that you weer lying about being single, when you were not...

But,because of my love to you I didn't leave you and tried to understand why you did it...

I am realistic person and understand that people are not perfect and sometimes could do mistakes...

But for me...AS LONG AS PEOPLE HONEST WITH EACH OTHER... EVERYTHING COULD WORK OUT JUST WELL!!!

Issue about you sending petition...

I hope you did,but to knowing case number that is not matching with USCIS website is more than just strange...

We got a case number that starts with VSC200707***

I believe people in VJ how has a case number will be able to proof that the case numbers dont start with 200707...

I really hope that everything will be alright soon...

I love you,Alvin and you know that...

All that you have to do just look back to our past and you will understand everything!!!
