Hi everyone. I was going through some of my evidence to present at the AOS interview and wanted to get an opinion from you guys. My wife and I still live at home with my parents (we're both still in school); however, following Hurricane Katrina two years ago, we had gotten an apartment together out of state while we were "evacuated" and attending school. Do you think I should present a copy of the lease from back then (even though this was well before we had planned to get married)? What do you all think?

Do you have anything currently showing co-mingling? Getting a letter from your parents explaining your living situation and them as your "landlords" would be a start.

Do you have a gym membership? Joint bank accounts? anything? The only thing you mention in your post about co-mingling is an apartment you had together 2 years ago. What all do you have now?

I think that you should take it with you as proof of an "ongoing relationship" - it proves that. When i went to all my interviews, they always stressed proving that there is an ongoing relationship. I brought current pictures plus older ones that showed that. I also brought emails and phone bills starting 4 years ago to the current year. In my opinion, you can never have too much evidence - every little bit counts. However, at the same time, make sure you bring "current" evidence. Stuff that shows that you live together presently.

Thanks for your quick replies. We've got tons of things together to show ongoing relationship. I was just curious whether or not I should add this into the file as "cannon fodder" so to speak. I think it has been awhile, and i'll just leave it out.
