I just realized this thread is a month or so old, but so sorry for your loss anyway Marilyn..I must have missed it at the time. Craig's Granddad passed away the day of our AOS interview..has been hard on him being back there without him there and seeing his Nan as well. :( Hope you are feeling a bit better now. M.

2009: Conditional GC Expired and Husband has been having affairs since 2008 in China. Can't file for ROC since he got laid off. He came to Jakarta to live with me and my parents. He got a new job. Life resume to normal or so I thought.
March 2010: Officially separated after yet more affairs exposed just a day after my birthday!

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.

So very sorry Marilyn - I lost my grand-dad (my dad's side) over 24 years ago... I adored him... and the loss still hurts... the dreadful pain will ease in time Marilyn lots of hugs and warm thoughts coming your way. (F)

Me too Melo. I lost my grandad 20 years this summer, just before I became pregnant with what would have been his first great- grandchild. He took the place of my dad, when we lived with him and my nan for several years. How I loved that man.....Thankfully I have so many happy memories of him.

I'm so sorry for your loss Marilyn. As the pain slowly subsides, I hope you too, one day, will be able to look back at the many treasured moments you spent together.
