AOS Processing times and such

Okay, my AOS case (I-485 & I-30) has been sitting at the MSC since I filed back in February. My question is where can I find the processing dates for both applications? If you click on the processing dates for the MSC it does not list either one of the forms! Somewhere I read you need to look at the processing dates for your local office. Okay, so I click on the processing dates for Washington, DC and it does not list the times for the I-130 either! Is infopass the only option?

Another thing is that back in July I e-filed for the EAD but the when I try to add the case to my portfolio on the web page to see the status it says that it does not exit! Wonderful. It has been more than I month since I filed and I already had my bio taken. Is this because of all the backlog of cases or e-filed applications are not available on the web page?

Any info is well appreciated

Thanks for your reply... you are right you can look at the statistics to get a general idea of the processing times. USCIS prompts you to call if your case is outsite the processing times. The problem is when to know when your case is outside the processing times if they dont list the forms you submited! :-)

You can ask for an infopass appointment, that's probably the best way to find out what's going on with your case.

Timelines give you an idea of the average case, but every case is different and treated on its own.

Your I-130 will be processed at either VSC or CSC (did you receive a transfer notice?). Your I-485 will stay at MSC until they transfer it to your local office after an interview date is scheduled. I would not trust the processing dates listed for the I-130 because all it shows is the oldest petition they have there which could be delayed there for any number of reasons (like security checks).

ETA: Just thought of something... do I-130s stay at MSC when they are filed concurrently with the I-485?

I think you will want to make an infopass appointment though as it's been quite a while since you heard something.

I don't think so. Our's was approved the same day as our AOS interview, which leads me to believe the adjudicating officer approved it (at our local office).
