Hello everyone

I am new here.

Please help me how I can find out when (the date) AOS Fee Bill & DS-3032 is generated for my case.

Would the automated service (NVC customer service) tell the exact date when they are generated?

In the AOS bill it says "Bill date" Is it the date the AOS fee bill generated?

Once I find out the date I can send the AOS feel bill ($70) by using the James shortcuts (is it how you guys do it?)

Hope I didn't confuse you guys. Please help me. Thankyou.

It's when you call the NVC hotline at 1 603 334 0700 option 1 (5x), enter your case#, then 1... and you get a message something like "...NVC will mail blah blah blah to the beneficiary..." The key word is Beneficiary. You'll get this message when you call in early Tuesday morning. Your bill date will be that Monday, after hearing that message on a Tuesday.

I really appreciate your quick reply. I just called the customer service and it says the case number assigned on Aug 16 in the NVC computer system. and please allow us 6 to 8 weeks something like that. actually I heard the BENEFICIARY like you said.

My question is since the case number was entered into the system on Aug 16th, I guess the bill must have generated Aug 20. Should I put "Aug 20" for the bill date when I send the AOS fee bill for $70 using James shortcuts.

Also can I send an email to them for the DS 3032.

Please let me know. I will wait for your reply and then email them.

Again I relly appreciate your help. Thankyou very much.

There is just one thing I will ask you to do .... :time: It will help us (other VJers) on giving you the information that you need and that best suit your case. Normally, it takes 2 weeks from the NVC assigns you the case, to the DS3032/ AOS Fee bill Generated date. Has it been 2 weeks yet?

What I did with mine was I asked my husband to fill up the DS3032, signed it and sent it to me. I then mailed that form to NVC. I did not go for the DS3032 email route since they are flooded with emails right now, and it takes them over 10 days to reply to them.

Did i miss something out?

Welcome!

And to answer your question: Noooo! Do not send in the DS-3032 and AoS fee bill until you hear from the automated message that they have been generated. The case number is generated first, then it'll take about 2-3 weeks for them to generate your AoS and Choice of Agent forms.

The NVC is about 2 weeks behind on checking email, so do like RandyandRina did-overnight the DS-3032.

Having August 16th as case entered in the system, I would think that 8/27th will be the DS3032/AOS Fee Bill generated date. But just to make sure, take note of the message that you have now, and then compare that on the message that you have on the 28th. You would know the difference I bet.

I just heard on NVC message that my IV bill will be sent out in a couple of weeks, should I expect it next week? I have sent out the aos fee bill and they received it, however I have not received my instructions for my i-864 yet. Is this normal?

Let me rephrase my comment...

Thats totally up to you whether you wanted to wait for your I-864. It is just a letter simply telling you where to download the form, plus the brcoded coversheet that goes along with it. We have the same timeline and mine was sent out this week via USPS Priority Mail  I'm using JSC :innocent:

Thanks again.

AOS Bill

I will wait until next tuesday and compare the two messages. Then I will decide when to send the AOS bill.

Should I use the James shortcut for AOS fee bill or just wait until I get the original AOS bill and then send their copy. The second option might take longtime. What is your recommendation?

DS 3032

My wife downdloads the DS 3032 fill it out, sign it and send it to me. Then I just write the MDR number on the form and send it to NVC

Is that how it works

Time line

I filled it and checked it again it says Armenia which is wrong.

Also I don't see many options that you guys wrote. Should I just write it in the comments column.

You guys are awesome. this forum is very helpful.

Yes that's right. LadyJane did say that you have to wait for that message saying that DS3032/ AOS Fee Bill has been generated. It's your choice if you are comfortable using the JSC. If you think you can follow it to the TEE then you should encounter no problem.

Yes, that's right. If you are using JSC, you have two options as noted by James: (1) write the Case # or (2) generate the barcode. Here is the link where to download the DS3032: http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/80023.pdf
