EAD APPROVAL WITH ERROR ON IT

hI there,

I was so excited i got my Renewal EAD on my birthday. I came down to earth quickly when i looked at it and it had an error on it. They entered the wrong country where i was born in.

So i phoned this morning to let them know about the error. The lady told they where very sorry ect. ect.I need to to sent the card back to them. Plus my application i-765. To see who made the mistake me or them. I f they made the mistake i did not have to pay. If they did there would be no fee. There is no mistake on the application it clearly tells them where i was born.

Am sorry to hear that...what two countries did they mix up? (just curious)

I was born in Zimbabwe. I am a Britsh citzen as my father was born in London. I have lived in the UK for 30 years. Longer than Zimbabwe.

when my husband got his EAD and travel doc his name was misspelled on both, misspelled 2 different ways. However the NOA and appointment letter for the AOS had it correct. Strange. Anyway we had to mail them back and get the new ones issued. As I recall it didnt take long.
