Hi everyone. I'm new here and soon to start the K1 :) yay. I was filling in my personal information and under "Other Information" it says: Country of non-US Fiance.

But I am the non-US fiance lol. Is this profile just made of US peeps? No distinction can be made?

Ooh another question. Is this information (Name, profile, profile picture) viewable by non forum members (like a potential employer)?

anyone not logged in (guest or non-logged in member) can see the same things you can in regards to a profile and in threads. the only thing they can't do that i know of is post. they may or may not be able to do a search in a forum, not tried it myself.

Ah too bad everything is visible. Btw another question: my fiancee wrote my name on my passport picture using a black marker (a thin one). The I-129a guide says thin filt pen or pencil. Do you think this might be a problem?

It shouldn't be such a big deal, as long as it doesn't print through unto the picture.

Also mention the month and year when the picture was taken, it should be a very recent picture. What I remember it only was allowed to a month old.
