Immigrant Data Summary

hi everyone!

What if on the immigrant data summary attached to the yellow envelope (visa packet), there are some errors? Like the "ALIAS" wherein my name when I was single was printed but my middle name was misspelled and then on the final address in the US, my hubby's name was misspelled too but the address is correct.

When I told the courier about it, he told me not to worry about it since it's just an ALIAS. I was not aware of my hubby's misspelled name yet and just found out when the courier left.

D u think I should call the embassy about it or should I just ignore it since it just the summary of my data?

You might want to call the embassy to verify. They will need to match up the information in the envelope with your AOS petition when you file it. It is always better to be safe than sorry. Good luck

I agree, from your timeline, it looks like you have got time to sort it out if it needs reprinting. Better to be absolutely sure it's all OK by giving them a call.

Hello I have the same prob. My name on the Alias is misspelled, also my first name reads as Kristin Marie Lacuesta (Lacuesta is my middle name and as indicated on my passpport) Ahhh i need to call them badly to make sure, but can anyone tell me how long it takes to get this sorted if necessary.
