H all.

I really need help.

My fiance sent I-129F in june to TSC.

No NOA 1 hard copy yet,but check been cashed on 18 of July.

We wanted to get a case number to be abble to check our case number online,

so he started to call uscis and they said our case number,NOA1 date(20of July) and promissed to send NOA1 copy within 90 days.

Our problem is when we going online and type our case number it shows Validation Error(s).,This Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct.

Also,our case number starts with VSC200707****

Friend of mine said that the case numbers never started with 2007,she said it has to be like three letters and 07(year) three numbers(computer day when they recieved package) and another 5 numbers.

I honestly dont know what to think...

Maybe uscis website has some problems

Are here people who also couldnt check the case number online?

Or does somebody has a same case number that start with 200707?

Or it really has to start with 07 first numbers?

first of all relax take a deep breath. I know your excited as was all of us when we where going thru this process. the number you doesnt sound correct but i want to let you even if it was correct all it would say even it is being processed. for about the next 3 months you will get very little information. in my case never receive a touch after i receive noa1 just stated being processed for me the whole process took almost exactly eight months from the day i flied till the day my fiance received visa in hand and i had no rfes so relax cause unfortunately your waiting game has just begun but i will tell you this the wait is worth it i just hope and pray you and your fiance filed all your paperwork correctly to give you an idea what the number should look like here was mine WAC-07-079-52859

I do understand that we have to be patient and wait till the visa will be completed...

I agree with that and willing to do that,but that case number is really bothers me..

I shared my worries with some of my friend who is also waiting for K1, aswer was...he lies to you...

I do believe to my fiance and trust him...

Just wanted to know if somebody also has a problem with case number,or it's just me,who is so damn lucky!

Hi,

I'll add my confirmation to others. I filed for a K1 visa and my number is EAC0720450XXX. It does appear to be EAC (for Vermont Service Center), 07 (the year), 204 (the ordinal day of the year = Jul 11), and some ordinal sequence number for the receipt during the day. So, if I might offer a helpful suggestion: Why not take a look at the back of the cancelled check that was sent along with the application? That contains the number printed on it. On mine, its pretty clear. If you don't have the check, call the customer service at the bank and ask them to read it to you. Most keep scanned copies, even if they have sent the original document out to the client. Just a thought to help thing along.
