My N-400 timeline, I hope it will help - Local Office (Chula Vista Field Office - San Diego)

10/01/2010: Application was sent.

10/04/2010: Application was received.

10/06/2010: Email received "Application has been received" & Noticed Date.

10/07/2010: "Touch"

10/08/2010: "Touch" & Check was Cashed

10/09/2010: NOA1 Received via mail.

10/22/2010: Status Changed Online "Request for evidence" It was for Biometrics.

10/25/2010: Request for evidence recieved "Biometrics Notice".

11/18/2010: Biometrics date ==> 11:00AM. Biometrics was taken On time.

12/03/2010: "Yellow Letter" Received.

12/06/2010: "Touch" Case Moved to "Testing and Interview".

12/08/2010: Interview Letter received via mail.

01/13/2011: Interview Date. Done, " Thanks To ALLAH, I Passed the Test.

01/18/2011: Oath Letter was Sent.

01/20/2011: Oath Letter Recieved via mail.

01/28/2011: Oath Date. ==> Done, I am a U.S. Citizen

01/31/2011: Applied for a U.S. Passport Book, And, U.S. Passport Card.

02/25/2011: Passport Book's Received.

02/26/2011: Passport Card's Received.

I can't access anything online at USCIS!!! I thought that after having biometrics it would somehow prompt the system to update & allow me online, but nope. :(

Immigration teaches us a lifelong lesson in patience.

I'm really pissed about this! I'm contemplating writing to my Congressman and having him make an inquiry as to why after over a month from them sending out a NOA1 telling me that they've received our I-485 that I'm still not registered into their online case status system.

08/13/07 - Received ASC Biometrics Appointment Letter in my home mailbox

09/04/07 - Received actual Appointment Letter (Interivew Date 10/30/07)

09/06/07 - Completed Biometrics Appointment at local ASC

10/30/07 - Scheduled AOS Interview Appointment - Approved

08/13/09 - Sent I-751 to CSC

08/17/09 - Receipt date of NOA

Oh, i am so sorry about that, but my opinion dont need to call ur congressman, because u are not the only one has this problem. i think there's some lesson USCIS trying to teach us how to be patient lol

I think it's best to save the need for contacting a congressman when something bad happens, or nothing happens for a long time. As long as you are receiving paper notices, they have your case & are working on it. I occassionally check back just to see if by chance they've updated me online, but no luck :(

Come on USCIS, let us in!

It is my analysis that nothing gets changed because too few people write their elected reps and truly demand change.

Think about it, if you were a Rep and every once in a while one of your constituents wrote to complain about a US department, would you care much about it to do something? I doubt it. But if 50% of your constituents wrote to you on a weekly basis to tell you how bad a certain US government department was and demanded that you do something about it, do you think you'd care? You bet! If enough Reps received enough complaints, something will be done about it by Congress.

But thus far, I have not written to my Congressman. I'm waiting until after my wife's biometrics appointment. Come 9/7/07 after 5pm, if the website still doesn't have her info, I'll be writing to my Congressman to make an inquiry.
