Hi? is there anybody here who was pregnant during the medical exam and did not undergo x-ray?

I was at St. Luke's yesterday (i'm 14 weeks pregnant) and the nurses informed me that i have to wear an abdominal shield during the procedure but they could not guarantee that it's 100% safe so i did not take it. However, they also said that "most" pregnant women they encountered agreed to take it.

Will my x-ray waiver be a problem during the interview? :help:

I can speak for Mexico and NO you do not get an X-ray. They will put in your medical you are pregnant and how far along you are. My wife was 5 months pregnant so it was obvious but they will verify the pregnancy by tests if you are not showing enough, if you are showing then they will measure her stomach to estimate how far along she is.

When she gets to the US and you go to the CS just ask them to fill out the 693 supplement and they will mark that it is inappropriate for vaccines.

This will not be a problem! When you file for AOS the civil surgeon may want to take an xray. Good luck with your interview

If she is pregnant they WILL NOT TAKE AN X-Ray PERIOD. No one can force any proceedure that would endanger the baby. Don't worry, no x-ray will be taken during pregnancy.

Can't speak for the Phillipines but I do know that in Germany, you do not get an x-ray while you are pregnant. It's not considered safe.
