Hi? is there anybody here from the Philippines who was pregnant during the medical exam and did not undergo x-ray?

I was at St. Luke's yesterday (i'm 14 weeks pregnant) and the nurses informed me that i have to wear an abdominal shield during the procedure but they could not guarantee that it's 100% safe so i did not take it. However, they also said that "most" pregnant women they encountered agreed to take it.

Will my x-ray waiver be a problem during the interview? :help:

Maybe you can contact the US Embassy and explain the situation to them. another way to find TB is a skin test. Wouldn't it be possible for you take that and use these results for the K-1 visa.

When you are going to apply for AOS, once in the US and after you had your baby, agree to take the X-ray than by a civil surgeon.

You can always inquire.
