Well I still dont have any thing to report. Check still hasn't been cashed. Unfortunitly I called USCIS and the script reader said it's taking 90 days to get the NOA1.

Well I just got a paper NOA-1 in the mail. File was transfered to CSC and check still has not been cashed...

My received date showes 7/27 and notice date is 8/23....if it helps

I called USCIS and sadly, I got the info that it will take 90 days to get NO1. Not good news at all. It will take FOREVER before I see my husband in US.

Yikes, That is a long time. I'm glad I sent my petitions in together, or I would be waiting forever to send in my I-129F.

Hi There!

If you filed for K-3 Visa before the fee increase period (before July 30) then the I-129F will be free of charge. We filed July 28 and included a check for $170 however, the check was returned to us and the NOA1 we received indicated that the fee was waived.

So far were on target with regards to our timeline. Just hang on in there!

No. The $190 fee you paid is only for the I-130. You need not pay the old $170 fee for the I-129F if you filed after July 30 (or if it reached your Service Center after July 30) as per USCIS if you are opting for the K-3 visa (filing I-129F after I-130 or filing it together as some have done will automatically mean that you are filing for K-3). I guess what it really means is that I-129F is free if you are under K-3.

We called up CSC and asked if this will affect or petition and they said NO. Hopefully it does not...or else, hehehehe!
