I have been advised that I am going to have to file my I-212 at a district office (Syracuse, NY.) Anyone have experience with this or other district offices or somewhere that has timelines for this form at the district level?? They do not report it on the case processing time website.

If you filed in-country 212, how long did processing take??

emt my guess is 12-18 months based on anecdotal evidence on the boards in general. But with in-country, as you've no doubt seen, it's really impossible to know. I would suggest trying to talk to someone there directly (I know, easier said than done!)

Definitely easier said than done, this office demands in person visits. I live in Virginia and they are in upstate New York. Plus they are only open two days a week, Wed. and Thurs. so I cannot even take one day off and handle it, I would have to drive 8 hrs there and back. This is crazy.
