The worst one I heard was of a wife who melted down candles on the kitchen stove, then went into the bedroom where her husband was sleeping, threw back the covers and tipped the lot over his exposed genitals. 2nd degree burns and several agonising hours in hospital while doctors peeled off the wax.

He probably asked what a bikini wax felt like and she was just showing him. ;)
