So... they still haven't cashed my check. When should I start to worry? Is there someone/someplace I should call to ask, "Hey, did you loose the check, because it was attatched to the front of the application? Do you still have it ? Are you gonna cash it?"

Watch for a post from me saying that my check was cashed. They have had my application 1 week longer than yours. Still waiting over here.

it really does seem awfully hit and miss, doesn't it... I haven't been able to see many patterns in who's got their NOA1 and who hasn't (though someone posted some dates the other day - there was a period of around two weeks - I think - where no from from VJ has yet received an NOA1 or had their cheque cashed... people on either side, yes, but them no... ultra-weird)

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Me too...hang in there, there seems to be many explanations out there about the problems CSC are having right now. I know that contacting them before 90 days is up will just reward you with a 'wait for 90 days' response. I've been doing a bit of research on dates (yes it was me! :P) and it appears there is a good few of us whose packets arrived around the same time that are still awaiting checks being cashed. I started a thread on this when I was confused as to whether I was a July or August filer :P There are a few of us on there waiting, so you're in good company. Hope that helps :)

Oh wow, that was FAST! Congrats!!!

Thanks for the congrats!! 76 days from sending in the I-129F until the NOA2.... despite it taking ages before the NOA1 is a great result.
