I love it, too. I think it's a great idea.

Kind of reminds me of some site I heard about on the radio where women go to get money for breast implants.

I saw a news feature on this not that long ago. They spoke to the "borrower", and kind of anonymously the "lender". The borrower was in some financial straits and needed to borrow approximately $1000.00. If I remember correctly it had to do with rent and moving. Anyway, it was a success, and awhile later, she had to do it again for school. I think it was a short term loan until her grants or school loans came in. She also worked part-time. Anyway, to make a long story short, the next time she needed money, it was for starting up a business. The same lender gave her the start-up money immediately. Her business was a success. This guy felt really good for helping her. She had been to lots of financial institutions and either no one would lend her small amounts of money, or they didn't like her start up business, but this guy, from having had previous experience lending to this woman, knew she was good for the money, and a smart lady to boot.

I'm sure there were some not so successful stories, but this was a feel-good piece on how both parties felt really good about it, and the lender (who wasn't a millionairre or anything) felt good about helping someone make some positive changes in their life.
