now that i'm in the US, i want to be able to watch my recordings from my camcorder.

the only thing is, i can't watch it on US televisions.

it comes out black & white, with lines all over the screen.

can some one let me know what to do?

you need to find a multisystem or pal tv. uk uses pal, us uses ntsc.

get a video capture device for you computer. Capture the video in PAL format and write it back out in NTSC format on DVD.
