Saywhat had posted a week or two ago about how NVC had rejected his wife's 'temporary absence' from the U.S. - although she/they had provided tons of proof with their I-864.

I just got off the phone with the NVC (posted earlier about this)

They are questioning my domicile (surprise!) - in their terms: The sponsor has not provided proof of U.S. domicile.

I have just been thinking. During the whole Adam Walsh thing, where you couldn't DCF for a while, many of us sent our info directly to the U.S.. Seems to me that these applications are now going through NVC and they aren't quite as understanding of the whole domicile issue as your local consulate might be.

Anyone else noticed a pattern developing with domicile issues when not filing via DCF?
