hey guyz i went to USA in 2005 on a visit visa b1/b2 at the time of my interview at the airport i said to the immigration officer that i am here for my cousin's marriage he granted me a stay for 6 months after 3rd month i got married to a US citizen and i filed my case for adjustment of status i was authorized to work but then my ex filed for the divorce and i got divorce after few days i had a letter from immigration to appear for the interview for green card but 2 days before my interview i departed from USA and came back to my country i traveled on legal documents issued by US immigration at the time when i filed my case now i am planning on marrying with another US citizen in my country i need to ask u guyz is it going to make any problem for me to get the immigrant visa from my country this time bcuz of my previous stay i stayed in US for 1 year 7 months .I would really appreciate your help guyz

I believe that once you married and filed AOS, your status changed and your 6 month stay was no longer an issue. Since you left the country prior to being granted a green card (if I read your timeline correctly) I'd think immigration would actually be happy with you for doing so and welcome you back. BUT I'm no legal expert.

thnx for ur advise ya i left on my own before i can get green card even before the interview for my green card
