Hi everyone. First I want to thank everyone for their support and advice. Well we had our hearing to drop the no contact order and it did not go well. The prosecuter refused to drop it,I think she was clueless. then she tells the judge that i have a attempted obstruction of justice charge from st catherines ont from 1987(i've never been there lol).So my lawyer says how I've been through all the checks to get my visa and that my record is clear. my lawyer then questioned my husband under oath and that went well so the judge makes a stupid remark about canadian border not letting dui people enter and says that wouldn't happen at our border what a dumb a**. and then somehow decided i have a substance abuse problem. ####### he pulled that outta thin air.so it was denied and we go back aug 29th.My lawyer wasn't there and i had a sub, but i met with my lawyer and he's reviewing the hearing and also researching immigration issues for me.He was very shocked it wasn't dropped then he said that Kootnai county has the worst judges, prosecuters, and sherriffs dept in Idaho. So once this is all done we are starting a lawsuit. I'll let you know how it all goes next week. Oh i got my hosp bill 385.00 just to tell me there wouldn't be enough drug left in my system to test and it would be extremely expensive to do.

UGH! I'm sorry to hear that court didn't go well. How stupid of them to accuse of something from St. Catharines when you have never been there. Also the comment about the Canadian border wasn't even part of your case. Hopefully you can get this resolved and that your lawyer can get you out of this mess.

I'm so glad you have a lawyer to get through this mess! Especially since it sounds like the judge, and prosecutor haven't got a clue. Hope they set the record straight about this previous charge they say you have. What goofs!! How are you making out not having any contact with your husband? My gosh, where are you even living? Was your husband at court? Did you have a chance to speak there?

What a nightmare! We're thinking of you, and appreciate in everything that's gone on, that you've updated us here. Remember we're your American/Canadian family too and wish you the best.
