RE: Original Signatures on Form 325A for I-129F & I-130?

Do I need originals with original signatures of form 325A for the petitioner and the beneficiary for both the I-130 and for the I-129F? Can I submit a copy for, say, the I-129F if the I-130 has an original signature? The K3 visa guide says originals.

Sorry if the question is a little hard to understand, or, has been asked before. Let me know if I need to clarify. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes you do need original signatures on the G-325A. My solution was to fill out the G-325A for each petition, saved the PDF and emailed it to her. She simply printed them out, signed them and mailed them to me.

Keep in mind that there are 4 copies of the form for each petition. I modified the original USCIS PDF file of the G-325A to make it savable. Simply fill out the first page of the form and the other three pages will automatically fill out. Just keep in mind that you need identify that one set is for the I-130 and one set for the I-129F. There is a spot on the lower left that says "This form is submitted in connection with an application for:" You can put something like "I-129F petition" or "I-130 petition" in the "other" blank.

Here is a link to the topic where I posted the savable PDF.

hmmmm seems like every time I read these forums I learn something new. Thanks!!

I have a few questions please... I see you filed just before the price gouge I mean increase. What was the total you paid to file both petitions? 190 + 170 ????

I filed my I-129F just before the increase and paid the $190.. I have been told on another topic that I don't have to pay anything when I file the I-130.... pushbrk said in a previous post that "If you send an I-129F now, there is no fee, regardless of when you sent your I-130. Filing both together now requires one fee only, the I-130 fee." I am going to file it as soon as I know for sure. Each form has a amount that is required to pay... ie: $170 for the I-129F and $190 for the I-130... Is it just me that I am confused!!! shishhhhhh

My other question is: If I don't have to pay the $355 fee for filing the I-130 now, has it always been this way when filing the K-3 visa petition? Sorry for being so dense... Thanks again..

pushbrk shishhhhh back off a little!!!

The way processing has been going recently I wouldn't even file the I-129F.

I'd just go with the I-130 all the way.

May change tho so it's a ####### shoot!

Check and compare timelines for each.

The K3 visa is just an option for married couples. You do not have to file the I-129f. You can choose to keep going with the I-130 and that will result in an interview for a CR1/IR1 visa, which turns into a green card upon arrival in the states. Some people are still saving a few months or more with the K3 visa, but others are not saving much time by going with the K3 visa.

Hopefully you have that backwards and filed the I-130 first.

No, it has not always been that way. Before the increase you paid a fee for each petition. Now you pay one. In your circumstances you get the bargain and pay one old/lower fee.

I-129F for married people is part of the K3 process. Using only the I-130 results in a CR or IR visa.

well i filed a couple photo copies of 325 form and havent heard anything yet well i just have heard anything yet i am going on 73 days from when web site said they recieved i-130 and still no noa-1 no rejection nothing. yes the i-129f is part of the k-3 process but after your spouse get to states to adjust status the fee is now $1010 so in the long run it is about the same time frame for fileing k-3 and aos. to just going with the i-130 and for the cr-1 or ir-1 visa it saves money in the long run your spouse just comes over with green card in stead of haveing to wait for it to be processed here

True but sometimes K3s have trouble getting the GC and can't get SSN also because of such.

Some 8+ months after applying to adjust status. .

Some even denied completely! I haven't seen many but it happens.

Not to bad getting along without the GC but sure is without the SSN.

For one I got tired of playing bus driver for wife and daughter.
