Hello to all

My fiance` just received his packet 3 in his country and I am preparing my information so when my packet comes I will be ready.

Question for the letter (affidavit of support) has anyone ever had a temp job and placed that on the letter and got approved?

I know that is important whether you are perm or temp, and I am afraid we will get declined because of it..... :help:

Oh yea...my income is tripple the poverty line and we have money in an account and I have a house and life insurance. Will they consider all of these things?

First, as I understand the interview of the i-134 is usually less strict than the i-184 (completed during AOS).

You need your 2006 tax return for sure.

Have you worked for one agency mostly this year? If so, you could include a recent paystub with year to date amounts -- you may have already passed 125% of the poverty line this year.

You only need other assets if you do not qualify on income alone. If your 2006 tax return is strong, you should be fine.

Thanks for all the responses...I hadn't eaten all day because I was so stressed about this but now I at least feel better that I might have a chance.

Yes I have worked with this agency for this year and before this have had a permanent job for 5 years with the same company I am a contractor at right now.....I just left to spend time with my fiance` in his country and was displaced. Any tax return that they need (i.e. 2006, 2005, 2004....) are all way over the poverty line and like I stated I have at least 40-50k in equity in my house, plus savings and life insurance. So I guess those will also qualify me....once again thanks!
