I was wondering if anybody could help.

Yesterday I recieved a YELLOW letter in the post Requesting Initial Evidence! On this letter they have highlighted that we need to send in Bank Statements covering the last 12 months and a recent appraisal by a licenced appraiser to prove that our assests meet 125%. Initially we did not use a joint sponser as we thought our assests would cover us. However we would now like to use a joint sponser to prevent us from forking out yet another large sum of money to have the house appraised plus the bank account I used no longer exsists and so I am now unable to get 12 months worth of statements (although i sent this with the first application anyway),

My question is..Do you think we can now use a joint sponser instead of giving them the evidence they ask for? Or since they have specifically requested this evidence must we submit it?? I did call and ask but the female I spoke to wasn't entirely clued up.

Also does this affect my application for EAD as the letter states "You are ineligible for waork authorizaion.....until 90 days after the initial evidence has been recieved"

Looking forward to hearing some responses

Elaine
