hello alll,,

finally, the moment is here. my wife is leaving tonite for mumbai for her interview on 23rd. I haven't felt this anxiety since I took my last final exam in college 3 years ago. I keep getting thoughts that I missed something... :unsure: newyas we have already submitted everything to VFS, and my wife is talkking following with her...

- usual, her passport, appt letter, extra copy of our marriage cert, her birth certi

4200 rs demand draft,

1. relationship package

- phone records, few emails, cards/letters I sent her, gift (usps reciepts), showing her beneficiary on

my 401k plan, joint tax return for the 2006 year(I did W7 for her)

2. copies of ds-156, ds-230, appt letter

3. I-134 package copy

4. 2004,05,06 tax return + transcript

5. wife's 12th std marksheet/Leaving certi + voting card

6. copy of PCC's we submitted

7. whole sets of I130 & I129 just incase

8. wedding album + marriage invitations

9. some of the embassy emails

10. medical pkt

do you guys think I missed anything.? please give me any tips..good/bad/ :)

5/10/2007 -- NVC recieved case (finally, after 3 weeks)

5/14/2007 -- NVC sent case to Mumbai embassy

5/31/2007 -- wife sent in packet 3

6/15/2007 -- wife received packet 4

8/23/2007 -- INTERVIEW DATE wohooooo + got K3 visa on 23rd :)

9/03/2007 -- sweetheart is here in US

AOS - EAD

9/17/2007 -- AOS/EAD package sent to chicago lock box

9/26/2007 -- NOA 1s for 485 & EAD

10/1/2007 -- biometrics appt letter received

10/13/2007 -- fingerprinting....speed it up guys..

11/28/2007 -- card production ordered - EAD

03/04/2008 -- final interview for greeen card :)

Packet 3 mailed out by Mumbai: 11/19/07 (Haven't received it as of 12/03/07)

Packet 3 printed off US Consulate, Mumbai website and mailed back: 12/03/07

Rec'vd Visa Appointment Letter: 12/15/07

Interview Date at Mumbai: 03/05/08

K3 VISA APPROVED: 03/05/08

POE: LAX on 03/10/08; Wife was asked just a few basic questions.

EAD Card Rec'd in the mail: 06/09/08. Thanks.

AOS Interview Scheduled for: 08/29/2008 APPROVED

GCard rec'vd: 09/09/08. Yay.... Done with USCIS until lifting conditions :-)
