Hello everyone.

I wanted to share my case on this timeline.

I entered the US with a tourist visa and married a US Citizen

Did not have criminal record of deportations.

01/05/07 Got married

03/01/07 Submitted Adjustment of Status and Employment Authorization Document to BCIS

05/10/07 Received Employment Authorization Dcument

06/02/07 Initial Interview (After this interview, I had to fill a in country waiver due to misrepresentation of social security number and greencard)

07/17/07 Submited waiver I-601 along with the extreme hardship letter to BCIS.

08/14/07 Approval Notice (Welcome to the United State letter)

08/21/07 Received Permant Resident card.

Thank God my case was approved in a very short period of time.

When I had to fill the waiver I was not sure about the outcome.

I went through a lot of denied extreme harship letters posted here from some users and got me thinking about ours. (It seemed very weak)

One of things that I believe had a great influence in my case approval, was my father-in-law's back surgery.

We stated that at this time I was the one running the errands here at home and that he really needs my help.

I believe this reason was crucial in my case.

Thank everyone for the comments.

P.S. Please never lose hope
