Mike I am guessing it was returned 221(g). Cases that are returned can take up to a year to be processed. Did you fiance send you a copy of the paperwork? If so what did it say? I would locate the paperwork and see exactly what it says. I know most times the USC is contacted and they have to resubmit evidence or interview at a local office here in the states. You need to react now and get some answers or help from an elected official.

I have a 221g but not a denial. And this is what is stated on mine at the bottom.

**WARNING: IF YOU FAIL TO TAKE THE ACTION REQUESTED WITHIN ONE YEAR FOLLOWING THE VISA DENIAL UNDER SECTION 221G OF THE IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT, SECTION 221G OF THE ACT REQUIRES THAT YOUR APPLICATION BE CANCELLED.

Good luck,

Mary

I assume the embassy denied your petition, did they give you a reason and if so, can you correct it? You can always start a new petition if you feel you have everything set up correctly. I wish you the best of luck, I know this must have been very difficult to deal with.

Hello

My fiance was given 221-g , marked need i-134 sponsor and cosponsor, i sent all what they requested directly to the embassy May 2005, i sent them email many times and it took them two month to respond to me.

The respond was, We are sending your petition back to DHS for review and possible revoqation, the consular officer has too many questions and conserns regarding the relathionship.

so i sent a letter to my senator, her reply was that they closed my case,i contacted her again i im asking them to reopen my case and give me the chance to rebut.
