Wow, congrats to everyone!

I emailed the Vancouver Consulate to ask when to fax my checklist in and they said "after my medical exam" which was yesterday. A K-1 applicant I spoke with there said that her interview is today and she was told she could fax the checklist in before her medical exam. GRRRRRR.

I am now waiting for the interview date by letter.

I-130 Process

02-24-2007 | Marriage

03-21-2007 | mailed I-130 to Nebraska

04-05-2007 | Received NOA1

08-23-2007 | touched, wooohoooo (4.5 months later)

08-23-2007 | approved

Unsure | received NOA2

I-129F

04-20-2007 | cheque cashed

04-23-2007 | Received NOA1 - advised it could take 60-180 days

10-11-2007 | received the original package that was mailed to my old address (forwarded by the post

office)

10-24-2007 l medical exam and faxed checklist to Consulate

10-25-2007 l interview date letter mailed to me by Consulate

10-29-2007 l email reply from Consulate advising they mailed the letter and my interview date is set for

my birthday, November 13, 2007

11-13-2007 l interview at 1:00 at Consulate. Verbal approval

11-14-2007 l picked up my visa....woohoooo

Hello, My friends! I just wanted to say that we are only a couple days away from our interview! Monday is the big day for us...I almost can't believe it's finally time!

I'm a little bit nervous, but Oleksandra, the one who is being interviewed, doesn't appear to be nervous at all! Go figure!

Anyway, I'll report back soon what happened. I wish everyone else with upcoming interviews the best of luck.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!

I know for sure when I eventually get my interview that Josh will be cool as a cucumber and I'll be the biggest bag of nerves possible, hehe. He always tells me I worry too much and I bet Oleksandra is telling you the same thing right now ;)

awww... I am so jealous of you March people.. you guys can already "come" to the US already after your final interview this month.. one month really does take a difference... we aren't even pass the 1st step yet... I hope that the NVC --> Consulate part will be much faster.. :crying::crying:
