Who else has an interview this week? Good luck to everyone who does :yes:

Our interview is this Friday. I am flying down to Peru to go to the interview with my wife and to bring her back. She would probably freak out if she had to go through customs and find her way through the Houston airport by herself :o If all goes according to plan, we'll be back on Halloween :devil: Wish us luck!

Good luck! Can't wait to hear about passing the interview! We have ours on Monday! I'm getting so excited I don't know what to do with myself! My wife is so wonderful and we've been apart for so long...I can't believe we are almost at the end! :dance:

I am so mad about this.. just because we apply one month late, we have to wait much longer now.. :crying: :crying: I actually cried this time when I left China... she made me cry at the airport.. :crying: :crying: I really miss her and want to be together.. why can't we at least get approved?.. That is better than nothing.. they say they are looking at our case now.. but they said they need up to 30 days to do a "REQUIRED INVESTIGATION".. these kind of cases require it, they said... I already work for the government, so they already did a background check on me... that is so stupid.. they should do background checks (and IQ checks) on these USCIS officers.. they should put quotas as to how many they should finish in 1 day... :angry: :angry:

I completely understand your frustration! I felt like ours also took much longer than those that applied a month or two before us. It drove me crazy! All I can do is wish that the rest of your process is much quicker. Hopefully because of the amount of time you have already waited they will work a little harder to catch you up. Best of luck!

Good luck you 3....i will be rooting for you guys....i should be going with you....my i130 was mailed on Feb.16....grrrr.....but, that is the luck of the draw....you all are in my thoughts and prayers...

It took 40 days and 40 nights but as of yesterday my approved petition is at the NVC. They said it should be on to the embassy by Friday !! :dance: :dance:

I do have a potential problem with middle names now but I'm hoping to address that issue at the embassy.

We passed interview today. Visas will be delivered on Friday or Monday. Everything was o.k. The most difficult part was security checks because I am with baby and they didn't allow me to go there with the baby carriage. So I had to carry my 9 kg. baby in hands all the time :) :) :)

They asked me only if I have been in USA before and for how long. I've been there for 6 months before a year. The most important is to have all required documents. The officer refuse to take photos and etc. because we have a child and this is a proof for relationship. I am very happy now. This journey is so exhausting.

Parachute, wonderful news. Now everything will be faster. You are close to the final.
