Hey a quick poll!

Based on my timeline in my signature, when do you think the papers will arrive at the embassy? (Keep in mind the I129F was recently approved also)

1. Late October

2. Early November

3. Mid November

4. Late November

5. Sometime in December

Just reply back with a #

Thanks :)

I vote for #1. You;ll be quicker with the transfer since we're talking about the VSC verses the CSC. In fact I could have your papers delivered in a few hours by riding my BIKE to the NVC   !!

1!!

#1 (VSC to NVC is a few days, a few more days to the embassy) Actually #.5, mid October is still a possibility. This is for the K3. Obviously if you are asking for CR1, it will be #5 or #6 (January).

Hey all, I have some great news to share with you all. I called NVC today and they said that they mailed out out K3 information to the consulate on Oct. 4th. That is great, because I was just approved on the Sept 25th.

Ok so here comes the question. For the people who are in India, how long did it take to reach the consulate/embassy from the date NVC mailed out the paper work? So if mine was mailed out on the 4th, when do you think the embassy will receive it? Anyway to track it, because NVC said no. All they said was it was mailed out via DHL.

Thansks

I am very happy today :)

Congratulations for the great news! I can't answer to your question about India. My papers reached Bulgarian embassy for 3 working days. With DHL it is faster. Wish you luck

I am trying to understand but I don't!!

I am trying to be patient but it's not working!!

Can someone please tell me if they are familiar with a petition being placed on Aministrative Review at the National Visa Center? My petition has been at the NVC since 09-27-07. It's difficult for me to understand when I see other petitions entering the NVC and leaving within 2-4 days. Maybe I am anxious then again maybe not.

If you have any information on this I would appreciate it.

WOW.... Unbelievable!!!!!

When you call what do they tell you? I mean do they give you a reason for the 'administrative review'? When I called they made it seem like it is a standard proceedure and that all petitions go through this type of security check. When I asked why other petitions from the same country haven't taken as long, I get the old song & dance and "I duno Know". You would think they would know...they work there it's there job to answer these type of questions.

Yes...they tell me it is standard procedure and before the 4 weeks was up they would say ''standard processing is 2-4 weeks'' now they say ''i don't have a date to give u, just keep calling back''....i mean...what do they actually DO with our approved petitions??? And why do some people's go the next day??? I don't get it.
