now you case is approved does not mean you are done man.............dont forget there are lots of people waiting like us.................

remember there are lots of other people waiting and estimating their case will be processed by so and so date based on the vj time line............

we should remember those days when we used to get mad when people doesnot used to update their time line when there petition were approved man................

Hi, I just wanted to mention that how long it takes CSC to send cases to NVC depends on when you were approved and when they last sent the truck. Your petitions go to NVC by truck and they do this once a month. So if they last sent the truck on Aug 14th and your petition was approved Aug 18th, then you would have to wait until the next time they send it. Then youhave to wait for NVC to do their thing with it and assign a case no. The nice thing though is that most 129F after getting case no. are sent to consulate overnight by email. At least this is what I know from my experience. Best of luck to you all.

not through email ..........nvc sent through DHL...............thats what lady told me when i called

They do both. Send electronic version first, then paper is shipped.

i don't know how they send it..but I do know mine was forwarded on august 31st and its still not received by the consulate. i thought that everything would move fast once the petition reaches nvc...but i am here again

I am also freaking out at this point. I am nearing 4 weeks since my cases were approved and NVC still doesn't have. Damn USCIS :devil:

DOS is a large department and NVC is part of DOS and they are the ones to contact. hehe i found this out today.

Nope have not heard a thing. It has been 2 weeks since we were approved so I am assuming we have approx. 2 more weeks.
