YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY we have interview...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His is Sept 13th. Now he has not received packet 3 as it was mailed Washington says August 6th. I called last week they said Casa has the electronic

copy and not hard copy  His packet 3 has not been received yet and Packet 4 was mailed August 16th..............so what is going on now? Washington says don't worry that some people fill out unnecessary forms and all will be taken care of at interview  So please tell what that means and should we worry he does not have packet 3 yet?

Thanks for any input.

We are hoping everything will go well...............

There's no such thing as a packet 4 for Casa. When the consulate receives the hard copy of your petition, they will send your fiance packet 3, which includes instructions and some forms. He will bring these along with relationship evidence, etc. to the interview. There is no mailing in of a packet 3 and waiting to receive packet 4 like there is at some consulates.

So now it is Aug 22 and no packet 3 yet. Should we be worried? He has to fill all this out and have medical exam somewhere. Should I call or email Casa. I haven't sent him the I-134 Affadavit of support cause I thought he would not need it. Should I go ahead and send that? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

So Washington told you that Casa had mailed packet 3 on 8/6 or is that when NVC mailed your petition to Casa? What happened on 8/16? Is that when Casa mailed out the packet to your fiance?

Keep in mind that the mail is notoriously slow in Morocco. If you'd like you can call the consulate and ask them if your fiance can go and pick up the necessary forms since he hasn't yet received his packet.

The I-134 is no longer required at Casa. Many people have been bringing one anyway "just in case".

Hey Friend--What worries me about your situation is that the physical has to be at least 14 days or more before the interview. Hamid is in Casa right now trying to finish his physical--he will go tomorrow to get chest xray or whatever. AND they refused to give him test results. Which really pi##es me off, cuz I know they CAN do that if they wanted. Also, he said he has already spent over $200.00 so it is more expensive than we thought-or this doctor is taking us for all he can get... :crying:

Anyway, we are hustling around trying to get all this done. He will next work on getting papers translated. I would call Casa and ask if he can go ahead and get his physical. Hamid had to wait 2 days to get an appointment, and there always seems to be some holiday in Morocco where everthing is closed.

SO....here I sit with my stomach hurting---am nervous as can be. We are practicing on the questions, but Hamid is NOT a big talker. I keep telling him, you have to say more than one sentence. But then I see that most of these seem to be decided before they get there (what with Approved or Not Approved already written in red on the papers), so it makes you wonder if they really even need an answer.

Well, enough for now, anyway I would call and see if he can get going on the physical.

Also, I emailed Casa one time, took 3 days to get back to me. I emailed them again with another question last week and still haven't gotten an answer.

If I worked like that, I would have gotten fired long ago..... talk to you soon!!
