Can the consulate officer reject the visa or ask the petitioner to buy insurance if your fiance/fiancee' has a non-communicable disease such as diabetes, heart prolem, or kidney problem? I know that if you get communicable disease, such as HIV, tuberclosis.. then you are rejected. But I don't know about the non-communicable diseases. If you have any experience with the non-communicable diseases, please share your view.

thanks

Common conditions like diabetes, asthma, ezema etc are normally ok...best to get a doctors letter for your medical though to explain what you have and how you're dealing with it etc...

I have a serious rare disorder and the medical is going to be a case of judgement for me. I know how you feel. It's scary to think you can be denied for a medical problem thats genetic...and also not your fault and not contagious.

Good Luck

P.s go to the guides about and read the medical guide there is some info on medical conditions....

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything

The medical is to determine whether or not you are going to cause a public health problem, primarily to others, once you are in the US. They are interested in communicable diseases primarily. Non-communicable diseases are not disqualifying.
