Hi all,

My case has been on the received and pending status for a while. We got our first NOA back in March 12th and our biometrics was completed on April 11th. Since then, nothing has changed - we are just waiting for our approval. Are we supposed to have our case "touched" as some people have mentioned here? Is that normal for your case to be touched - what exactly happens - you get an email from them?

Please let me know if you all think it has been too long and I should contact them regarding whats happening with our case?

Lifting conditions can take up to 1 year, that is why the NOA1 letter extends the conditional LPR status by 1 year.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Anyone in the similar situation filing the I-751 with Vermont please comment?

The timelines show for VSC between 3 and 6 months for lifting conditions.
