Hi guys, you'll be glad to know we finally received the IV bill after they were sending it to the wrong place. I've read the whole NVC process time and time again but am i bit confused...I'm just asking you guys what i'm to expect next according to my timeline.

We've now received the IV bill and will be paying it shortly, should the I864 be with us already or does this come after we've paid the IV bill?

Also how do we know the AOS bill was accepted..? How much longer (roughly) do you think our process could be until completion hoping theres no complications?

Thanks to anyone that can help, i really appreciate it :)

I'm getting worried the AOS fee bill hasn't been accepted for some reason, it was sent and cashed over 2 months ago... i guess this is where i'm confused, if its not been processed and accepted the I-864 won't be sent right... But if its been cashed surely its been accepted??

OMG so tired of all this, i wanna go home

OKAAAAY after 2 attempts at getting through, (first person barely spoke english and didn't know what forms were what!!!) i got through again.

i found out the AOS fee bill has been accepted and that the IV bill and I864 instructions were sent the same day. I explained we got the IV bill now but still no I-864 instructions.. i guess to expect them both to arrive the same day was asking too much.

SO.. pay the IV bill today... wait for the I-864 instructions... (hopefully they come today)

For a second i thought the AOS fee bill hadn't been accepted, but on the call the lady told me they accepted it! PHEW!! panic over..

Ok i'm kinda talking to myself here but resolved some worries.. hahah but if anyone still has a rough estimate on how much longer things could be now.. SHOOT! Could i look at getting back to usa before December?? I hope so!!!

I'm glad they show the payment for the AOS bill because that's what generates the I-864. Once you pay the IV bill and they log the payment in their system, they will mail you the DS-230. Theeeeen, once you return and they review both, the I-864 and the DS-230, they complete your case and send it to the embassy in London.

You're really close to being done so I hope they don't approve your I-129F any time soon.

NikkisPrecious,

assuming that you send out the IV bill today, DS-230 will be generated (most likely) in two weeks. Assuming that you use Jamie's shortcut and send out filled DS-230 next day after it is generated, they will complete your case in about four to five weeks from now. It will take longer you don't use JSC (+2 weeks) or if you get any RFEs (+2 weeks). We also assume here that your I-864 will show up within a week and you send it back quickly (or that you use JSC for this step).

Hope that helps :)

Hahaha, we've now received 2 copies of the IV bill but still no I-864 instructions which were supposedly sent out the same day, i guess the I864 package is alot bigger and could take a lil bit longer to get through the postal system??
