I was speaking on the phone with my wife tonight, and she was telling me how much she loved sitting by the ocean and watching the waves.

Since we are seperated by 8,000 miles, we never really had a good long honeymoon, so I was thinking that after she gets her visa in China, we could come back to America by way of Hawaii.

I presume there is a immigration entry point in Hawaii, but I have never heard anyone talk about coming in this way.

Does anyone know?

Can we enter the USA for her first time in Hawaii?

She can enter the US at any port of entry she chooses. You can even view port of entry information online:

Honolulu is the POE in Hawaii. Normally airlines will charge more if person doesn't continue on to their destination in a certain time frame.

If you don't want the crowds, hussle and bussel of a big city like Honolulu [Oahu]. Head out to Kauai, Maui, Big Island [Hawaii] or if you really want it kicked back! Lanai or Molokai.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

That would be determined by the particular flight that she chooses. The POE would be the first scheduled stop in the US, which in this case would be Honolulu, which has immigration and customs by the way.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.
