Hi everyone,

My hubby's interview is coming up soon...

Do you think that I should redo my I-864? We submitted in late May 2007, and nothing has changed since.

Would you mind taking a look at our list and let us know if anything is missing....

- appointment letter

- copy of our entire I-130 case ( I-864, DS-230)

- copies of police certificate, marriage certificate, birth certificate.

- 4 photographs (2 extra), with my hubby's name written on the back

- medical, xray

- vaccination report

- expresspost envelope (filled out with his address, and label with "signature required)

proof of relationship

- 2 scrapbooks we made for each other (w/ letters/cards, photos, boarding passes)

- wedding album

- phone bills (do i need to bring phone bills from the past 18 months? since we've been apart)

- documents that show that we have a joint account, his life insurance with my name on etc

Thanks so much for your help!! :)

you have tons. we printed one sheet with 6ish pics of us together recently that they never asked to see. I also had a new i864a because the one that I sent to NVC was on the old form. but no one asked for that either. or my latest pay stub. the only thing that they looked at was his medical-the vaccination record was recorded at the medical and I dont' think there's any reason that you'd need to show it again. I'd say take as much supporting evidence as you need to feel comfortable but they probably won't look at it.

You should be fine. I didn't bring any proof of relationship other than our sons BC and passport. I figured that should be proof enough. Your I-864 should be fine as well as it is in the most recent tax year. I updated mine as it was in the previous tax year (2005) and updated it with 2006 tax info.

I think you need your passport and $100 US cash

Karina is a CR1, so the fee is circa 400 USD, not 100. As for the evidence, seems to me you have more than enough! Actually, careful with bringing bulgy scrapbooks, chances are they won't let you bring them in - select some pics and add them to your fodler (they like accordion type folders it seems).

You don't need to update your I-864 I don't think.

Good luck!!!!!

You guys are awesome! Thank you for your replies!!

PS: I paid everything up $380 and $70 at NVC, do I still need to pay $400? Either way, I'll bring cash, just in case!

Thank you all!

Hi everyone,

I can't believe my husband's interview is in 3 days. We are preparing, but a lil' nervous...

I submitted the I-864 in May (dated 5/9/07) and nothing has changed since then... Do you think I should do a new I-864 just in case?

Im bringing the updated check stubs just in case... but I don't plan on getting my employers to write a new verification letter (it was dated in April 2007).

I'm getting paranoid......=X

Thanks!
