Mushy peas :dead: Although I do love the story of Peter Mandelson eating mushy peas thinking it was guacamole

I'd prolly check the Kings Head shop first, if you haven't already. They seem to have everything.

They are limited (I think).

Some sage VJer told me about a place off the 405 that was supposed to be huge.

Mushy peas :dead:

It's an acquired taste. I think what I dislike is the look of them. They don't actually taste half bad if you ignore the fact that they look like something that came out of a four year old's nose.

My Nan had this thing she called Pea Soup that she would make. It was like a slightly more liquid mushy pea concoction, which you served with dunplings. It was bloody yummy. Unfortunately, both she and my mother are dead, so I can no longer find out the "secret" recipe. :(

It's one of those things you regret not finding out before it's too late.

Maybe you could look up some online recipes and experiment a bit :D I am sure you can come up with your very own concoction and then make sure you pass it on :D

Heinz baked beans is one I will sorely miss.. I already put in my request to have my work colleagues send me some every month

Where abouts do you live? They are suprisingly easy to find up here. Jewel carries them...even the Mexican grocery store carries Heinz Beans!

Tonight for dinner...Heinz tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Yum!

My wife bought me one in Kroger (Atlanta area) last week. It lasted until the following morning  It wasn't proper Dairy Milk though, it was the Hershey's 'licensed' stuff. The Minieggs inside were the real deal though :D

Kroger can be quite good for occasional stuff like that, they sell genuine, made in Britain, Cadbury Creme Eggs too, $0.50 each, although they're a bit smaller than the ones sold in Britain.
