White gold ones - different from my first ever engagement/wedding ring - we went in yestrday and got them ordered - Mine has to be specially cast due to small fingers lol.

Anyways heres a piccie: Rings

Kinda makes things more..'real'.. if you know what I mean :D

4 more days and I'll be back in UK - and hopefully packet 3 will be there - but I'm using this trip to bring all our paperwork (I-134 etc) back wth me so its not JUST a visit so we can spend time together (and do laundry :lol: )

Met online 2001 - just aquaintances

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

4/14/08 recieved NOA extension letter

4/26/08 recieved biometrics appointment letter plus it looks like our case has been forwarded to California!

5/02/08 Biometrics scheduled

5/02/08 Biometrics completed in 10 mins!

Woo Hoo....8/28/08 Recieved 10yr Greencard in mail, no approved email!! We are done!!!

On similar topic, Pras and I had two sets of rings.

Initially, made purchases at a jeweller in Kodambakkam (plain 22K bands), when my dad said he was "bringing a pair to be used as per mum's wishes". In this case, I used an impromptu solution--used my mum's rings (mine single diamond, hers sapphire with two diamonds) for engagement and saved the more recent purchases for the wedding.

Awww sooo pretty!

Eeek you're ahead of me on the rings situation and I only have 7 weeks!!

We booked our venue today tho, a pretty park near here... just got to find a preacher!

4 days til you go back? Hope your flight back is more comfy than on the way over.

Enjoy the rest of your stay and don't do too much laundry :P

Wow they are so pretty! And well done for being organised.

We left it right until the day before we were leaving for Florida to get married and we had one heck of a job finding a pair of rings to match. Actually it was probably a blessing that the choice was narrowed down as I would never have known what to pick!
