I don't know if people are being lazy or if they're just out doing stuff!

I woke up early to play in a golf tournament with my Mom. Now we're just hanging around the house thinking about going out for a walk and some shopping and dinner.

Have a good one everyone!

Well, I finally did the deed on window treatments! My parents came over (dad w/ electric screwdriver in hand) and helped me put up some new curtain rods, tiebacks, & curtains - wooohooo... the living room looks so nice (and so different). I can't wait for the hubby to wake up and see the change - yes, he slept thru it all! It's almost dinner time here - I never ate any lunch!

monnik - that is what i remember...kind of. Thing is we only went out like after 7pm so I never really saw it in the daylight. lol. I never even went on the beach. We were sick most of the time though so we didn't feel like going out a lot. Awesome pictures though!

me n him - I have about three sets of curtains for three rooms and they've been in my hall closet for about two years 'cause I can't get anyone to help me put up the hardware. It really does make a difference in the room!!

sarah - you sure do golf a lot! my dad is 75 and a 6 handicap. I used to take lessons when I was younger but never really got into it. I wish I had though since it's a great way to get outside and most of the courses I've seen anyways are just gorgeous.

amerylu - I want to go on an Alaskan cruise so bad!!! I was actually planning one when I met my husband so it was either go to Egypt or go on that cruise. I had gone on a cruise a year for the past few years and was so hooked. It's an awesome way to travel. Hopefully I'll get to go there before global warming melts it all into the ocean!

I did some food shopping and oh my. It was the first real shopping I've done (like the big once/week stuff) since I got back from Egypt and it took like 7 or 8 trips from the car! All stocked up for starting Weight Watchers tomorrow.....my store was having a special on WW frozen foods so I got 5 for $10. So good for popping into the microwave at work.

I'm in a wicked lot of pain today. My legs feel like I went running for miles without warming up and my hands are killing me. Basically I feel like I'm 80 years old! UGH.

Well, we got a new couch/ottoman set AND a new dining room table with 4 chairs from a store on hwy 6 and bissonett called Allure' Furniture. It has some REALLY nice stuff. I highly recommend it if anyone wants some nice stuff. I'm very happy with our selection. Thank god we don't have to sit on the floor anymore. It wouldn't have been so bad if we had some cushions or something but bare floors for a month.....ouch! I hope everybody had a great weekend!

Wow! It really is a lazy Sunday. Nobody's posting.

Jackie, your granddaughter sounds so cute. Don't you just love it when they pick up on every little detail? My niece told me that for her 5th birthday she just wanted to "take it easy and relax around the house". hehehehee

doodle: sorry if those pics are misleading. I couldn't stay connected long enough to edit that post. Those are pics of the North Coast only. I bought the camera the night before we left Alex, so I didn't get a lot of good pics from there. But, here are a few:
