I slept in this morning but my favorite thing about Sunday mornings is just waking up and having a cup of tea and enjoying a beautiful day while the rest of the neighborhood is asleep :)

Some Sunday mornings before I get out of bed I call my fiance and he's usually napping so I wake him up and we talk "in bed".

Divorced. To hell with him.

I look forward to the weekends because that is the only time when I can spend time with my SO and see his face. Our work schedules are about the same (believe it or not)...but he still has to work on the weekends. Fortunately, he works for his uncle. His uncle owns an internet cafe. Even though I don't really like this, it is our only way to "see" each other for now because he doesn't have a computer in his home yet...BUT...when I go there in October, I will get him one for his home. We both work very hard all week long and look forward to the two days that we can be together. We spend all day Saturday and all day Sunday together and this is the best part of my week. Don't get me wrong, we talk many hours on the day but this is the only time I can see his face and see the most beautiful smile that I've ever seen before.

 Yes, I am head-over-heels in love with this man....LOL!!! (L)

I'm not a morning person so I don't "like" to wake up to anything.............much less the barking minidogfromhell that woke me up at around 6am and didn't stop until 8:30am.

:ranting:

I ended up going back to sleep finally and didn't wake up again until I heard the boom boom boom of the neighbor's daughter playing with her basketball at 11:30am.

I'm gonna go watch the food channel. I need a new favorite recipe.

What do I like to wake up to?? ummmm..... I like to wake up knowing that I can go back to sleep. I hate mornings but have to get up at 7am to get ready for work. blehhh ... I think waking up that early has GOT TO be a form of cruel and unusual punishment.....

Getting ready to head over to Ryans for our Sunday Restaurant Day. I hope they have steak today..I have been craving steak for 2 weeks!!!

Then we're going to head to a couple furniture places and possibly buy a new dining room table/chairs. It will be nice to have something to sit on for once!

Oooh I love the pics. Thanks Monnik. I like to wake up to the blinds open and the sun shining through my window and a fresh pot of coffee never hurts. We had breakfast at Le Peep earlier and the waitress remembered how he likes his tea. He was grinning from ear to ear  I thought it was too cute.

Not a whole lot going on around here today. My parents just got back from their Alaskan cruise so we're supposed to go to their home later today to pick up some cheesy gifts (as my dad puts it). Until then I'm looking for the recipe for Pretzel Time pretzels. My kids are begging me to learn how to make them.

On Sundays, I like to wake up to my husbands "Goodmorning Texts" or his "miss calls" that he sends to me, they are sent much earlier then other mornings. Especially on Sundays, they seem to put me much more .in heaven because after seeing them, I just lay in bed thinking of the day when I will be able to wake up and see him lying next to me and just being able to watch him while he sleeps. It's my life long dream that I can't and will never give up on. So thats my early Sundays mornings and I continue to hold these mornings close to my heart and keep them special. :luv:(L)

Happy Sunday mena peeps! I am at my desk drawing diagrams of houses, watching the rain fall.

This was my last weekend to stay in the house. Next Saturday, Lexy and I are going to a sleepover pool party in Wisconsin at my sisters house. She has an inground pool and every year she has a big get-together. Lexy said, 'grammy let's sleep in a tent and tell scary stories.' Where did she come up with this? I surely won't get internet in a tent. So I will be absent from VJ next weekend. And the following weekend, I will hopefully be at concert with Malarie (everything crossed, fingers and toes).

Hope you all have a great day.

Oh that sounds like so much fun with Lexy Jackie!!!!! My next door neighbor has two grandsons and they sleepover just about every other week in the summer and they pitch a tent in the backyard and he and the two boys sleep in it. It's cool 'cause I leave my porch door open at night in the summer when it's nice out and I can see the flashlight and hear all the giggles. :) My girls never wanted anything to do with camping unfortunately. I used to love camping when I was younger but my back wouldn't take it these days unless I had one of those air mattresses in the tent.

Wow! It really is a lazy Sunday. Nobody's posting.

Jackie, your granddaughter sounds so cute. Don't you just love it when they pick up on every little detail? My niece told me that for her 5th birthday she just wanted to "take it easy and relax around the house". hehehehee

doodle: sorry if those pics are misleading. I couldn't stay connected long enough to edit that post. Those are pics of the North Coast only. I bought the camera the night before we left Alex, so I didn't get a lot of good pics from there. But, here are a few:
