We got our NOA2s on 8/15 and for the heck of it I thought to call NVC to get a feel for this part of the process.

Anyways, when I put NOA receipt numbers, they had assigned case numbers 8/17! GUZxxxxxxxxxxx,GUZxxxxxxxx

Do we send by email choice of agent now?

Also, when sending email, can wife list daughter (13yr) and her case # on same email?

Thx

In my case it took them 16 days to process my e-mail, maybe you could download and mail the choice of agent with express mail. At the moment NVC seems to be overloaded with e-mail. If you have 2 case numbers use 2 e-mail or two envelopes. I don't have direct experience with this case but that's what I would do.

So, do I email now or wait until ds 3032 is generated? thx

This is actually a tricky question. Almost all have waited till DS-3032 is generated untill they have e-mailed the NVC (I did this too). But LadyJane succeeded in e-mailin NVC the day after she got her case number, i.e. way before her DS-3032 was generated. The result was that she got an immediate responce from the NVC after they had generated the DS-3032 and her choice of agent was thus accepted. So apparently you can e-mail the NVC in advance too (but don't take this as a guarantee). If you e-mail them after the DS-3032 is generated you need to wait approx for two weeks for an reply. Definitely e-mail two separate e-mails for your wife and for your daughter. Their case numbers have to be in the subject field.

Have your spouse download the form (see link below), sign it and then send to you either fax, scan and email or via mail. If you are following James' NVC Shortcut, please check my link on my signature and generate the barcode using your case# for the DS3032. Then you can send it to NVC.

Just like what VJ endless advised, email is not the best route choice to designate your Choice of Agent to NVC, as it takes at least 10 days for a reply from NVC.

Good luck!
