Guys, I already got my Green Card and Welcome Letter in the mail some weeks ago... And I got an e-mail from CRIS saying that they sent me an approval letter in the mail by July 25th, but I didn't receive any letter! :(

What should I do? Is this letter going to be important when I have to remove conditions?

Thanks in advance!

It's not going to be important. In fact, I don't think anyone receives any kind of an approval notice for I-485 aside from a welcome letter and a green card. Green card is all you need from USCIS to remove conditions in the future.

Congrats on your approval!

Filed AOS from F-1
Green Card approved on 01/04/07
Conditions removed 01/29/09

Citizenship Oath 08/23/12

You have received it - the approval notice is the thing that comes with the green card. Congrats! :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

We didnt get an approval notice either although they sent us an email to say that they had sent it out. To my knowledge nobody receives an approval notice only the green card and a welcome notice.

I received an approval notice (NOA I-797) without the green card enclosed. The notice said to expect the green card within 3 weeks.
