just a couple of questions though so please help if you can.

Background: Wife is american i am UK we are living in the uk and want to move back to US

1) Q14 If you are a lawful permanent resident alien, complete the following: Date and place of admission for or adjustment to lawful permanent residence and class of admission.

My wife (the american) is on a 2 year leave to remain.., How do i answer this?

2) Q15 Name and Address of present employer.. I take it this refers to my employment (the uk citizen)?

3) Q16 Has your relative ever been under immigration procedings. (i take it this refers to my wife)

Do i need to compete q22?

The petitioner, US citizen or PR, - your wife in this case, is filing out the form I-130. So, read the questions again from that perspective. let us know if you have more questions.

As jula says above, it is your USC wife petitioning for you, so she must fill out the form. But in short, answers to your questions are as follows:

14a and 14b) N/A. Your wife is a USC, not a US Green Card holder. (Answer to 14 should be N/A as well, as you are not currently in the US.)

15) Name and address of your wife's present employer (if any).

16) Have you (the UKC) ever been subject to any immigration proceedings?

22) N/A. You are both living in the UK and are filing from there.

Take your time, read the form and instructions and make sure it is filled out from your wife's point of view. It really is a pretty simple form. We did ours before I ever even knew of VJ and we had no problems at all. Good luck!
