Hello... my husband and I have been married for almost 5 months and have been separated all that time too... the visa not moving... I was wondering if I may go visit him in the States as a tourist and if they'll let me in? I know this question has been asked before but I can't seem to find it I keep losing myself around... ouch... THANKS!

09/10/08 NOA 2 for two of the children.

08/30/08 Employment Authorisation (valid for 1 year)

08/30/08 Authorisation for Parole

11/19/08 SSN (valid for work only)

12/04/08 Initial Interview appointment / Rescheduling requested

02/03/09 Interview appointment / very easy, very nice officer, not too many questions, our evidences were enough

02/03/09 Green Card granted for the four of us

02/16/09 Green Cards arrived in the mail

Hi, I did travel and the point is that you need to show them that you have good reason to come back to your home country and that you will not immigrate. So if you have a home, a job a bank account. Bring with you all the evidence that you are not going to immigrate on that trip.

It's not illigal to try but it might be a waste of time and money, it's a risk, the only thing is that you have to be totally honest with the officer. I did try and it worked... I read several cases of people that did it... it's your choice. We can only tell you that it is not illigal to try.
