Surely Seagal has realised that the reason his career stinks these days is because he's fat and $hit.

Just what I was thinking!

Isn't Steven Seagal a "big" name in Buddhism? I think he has been recognised as some reincarnated person, or something.

Maybe his career stinks because his movies are terrible.

I'll admit, I quite liked that one on a boat, can't remember the name of it. "I'm just a cook!". All the rest sucked big time though!

under siege

That's the one! I ask that no one hold my liking of this film against me in the future.:lol:

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Steven Seagal, whose action movies once were major box-office attractions, believes false allegations by FBI agents ruined his career, the Los Angeles Times reported on Friday.

Either that, or the fact that he's gotten FAT. :P

P.S. Oops.... erekose already mentioned that

Since before I can even remember my mother has referred to Steven Seagal as "Slappy man" because he always slaps people in movies (and she can never remember his name).

He was never a good actor- and unfortunately he doesn't pull off being a bad actor as well as William Shatner. Although I do get a laugh out of some of his movies.

And. LOL @ the Jean Claude Van Damme picture. I remember when I was about 10 he was all the rage and me and my little friends all had crushes on him. Now you mention his name and most people are like "who???"

Van Damme was in that John Woo movie that was pretty good (well... it wasn't horrible. Unlike that French Foreign Legion $hit he was in, or that one with Roger Moore as the comedy sidekick).

Unfortunately the atrocious mullet that he sports in that movie (see below) was rather ill-advised. Even in the early 90's.

Here's a recent picture of Seagal, apparently from a gig he did down at UEA (University of East Anglia)

Stroke that guitar!

Sorry Steven. Leave the guitarmanship to us musicians! Some people just don't look good with a guitar around their neck! These photos are proof of that!

Edit: I've never watched a complete Segal movie all the way through. Changing the channel on a Steven Segal movie gives me about as much inspiration as Billy Graham gives to his congregation during one of his sermons ;)
