Hmmm... what could be a more important reason to vote for a candidate... Abortion stance and opposing gay marriage. Yup those are key, relevant issues that affect our daily lives.

For a tiny percentage of America, perhaps. Thank god he won't make it that far.

That tiny part of America can get pretty big, especially when they make support for their candidate part of the sermon.

After the debaucle that is the The GWB Presidency - I think America is ready for a non-Conservative candidate. Perhaps even Hillary.

I don't really know if things have changed much. Much of the support Bush still has, is from the religious right. By them, he has done right. He has made the supreme court more politically conservative. Sex education programs have been abstinence only. Funding has been made available for religious groups, and so on.
