Hi all

Someone knows which vaccines i need to have for my interview? I know that for each country they are different. I´m from Mexico so I have my interview in Cd Juarez. I know that in the medical exam they will put them if they are necessary, but i have read than if I carry with me the evidences that I have the vaccines already, I must not pay for them...

Thanks for the help

Good Luck at CDJ. For K1 visa - you do not need vaccinations. You will need them for AOS stage once you are in the USA.

Vaccination Requirements

All applicants for immigrant visas are required to have the following vaccinations, if appropriate, for age, medical condition, or medical history:

  • Mumps
  • Measles
  • Rubella
  • Polio
  • Tetanus and diptheria toxoids
  • Pertussis
  • Influenza type B
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Pneumococcal

As a fiancé(e), you are not required to fulfill this requirement at the time of your medical examination for a fiancé(e) visa. However, you may want to do so. These vaccinations are required when you adjust status following your marriage.

Yo creo que si me hace falta alguna, que no estoy segura si mi mamá guardó todos mis records :( me las pondré de una vez aquí, creo que es mucho más barato y así ya te llevas todos tus papeles completos.

I hope this helps :)

Yeah, its also probably cheaper to do them in Mexico instead of the US. Shots here can vary from $50 to $120 each, depending where you have them done.

Yeah but you didn't post the source - tsk tsk

;)

To the OP, vaccine requirements are the same no matter where the applicant is from. If you can get your carta de vacunas (cannot remember if that's the name) translated for your adjustment of status, that would be great.
